CESG
As market leaders in the field of Information Assurance, SBL play a key and vital role in supporting CESG and its many initiatives.
CESG is the Information Assurance (IA) arm of GCHQ and are based in Cheltenham. They are the UK Government's National Technical Authority for IA, responsible for enabling secure and trusted knowledge sharing to help customers within the public sector achieve their business aims.
SBL work within Industry to encourage vendors to interact with CESG in order to gain advice on roadmap development and to engage in the relevant accreditation schemes designed to enable safe procurement and adoption of new technologies.
SBL actively adopt and integrate approved technologies into our IT Security portfolio, and assist in propagating the appropriate health warnings and handling instructions designed to address the management of protectively marked data through use of accredited products and services.
SBL host the annual CESG IA Practitioners event at York racecourse.
In addition SBL have designed a raft of training courses to educate users and administrators in the appropriate adoption and use of CESG Approved technologies, and these courses continue to be extremely popular.
We continue to support CESG through a number of separate initiatives as we navigate through significant and profound changes within the public sector IA marketplace designed to adapt to the changing threat landscape of the Information Age.
