Key Material Management
SBL employs a number of Crypto Custodians who are experienced in handling Key Material for Government bodies. Once the Key Material arrives at SBL it is stored in our secure facility until applied to the machines at the point of encryption. Once complete the Key Material is stored at SBL in our Crypto Vault and accounted for each month by our Crypto Custodians.
SBL will accept the complete management of Key Material on behalf of an authorised organisation. This service ensures that the customer always knows where their key material is stored, can access the key material in emergencies, will be notified when key material is about to expire and does not have to continuously apply for new key material each time they have to encrypt additional devices.
